Description

Hurst Farmhouse is a cottage that likely dates from the early 19th century, with a 20th-century addition. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, and features a hipped thatched roof with a brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high with a two-bay south elevation. It has two-light casement windows that include horizontal glazing bars, and there is a 20th-century door and porch located at the lower bay of the second section. On the east gable, there is a tiled roofed lean-to, along with a further extension at the rear. The interior has not been seen, but the original section appears to be little altered.
