Description

This is a terrace of four houses, numbered 2 to 8, located on the south side of Church Street in Wiveliscombe. The buildings date to the early 19th century and now include office space. The exterior is rendered, with a Welsh slate roof, the pitch of which is steeper on the left-hand four bays. Deep eaves incorporate a soffit board, and the property has brick stacks. The terrace is ten bays wide. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, though some on the ground floor have been replaced with 20th-century windows, and one window at No. 2 has a modern floor. A depressed arch opening, flanked by pilasters, provides access to the rear of the terrace in the central bay. The front doors are pairs of six-panel doors. A single-storey, two-bay extension on the right-hand side is a 20th-century addition and is not included as part of the listed building.
