Description
Nos 1 and 3 and the attached workshop are two houses with a workshop, built in the early 19th century. The exterior is rendered to resemble ashlar stone, with expressed quoins, and features a Welsh slate roof that has a lean-to extension at the rear. The right return elevation is hung with West Somerset slates. The buildings are two stories tall and have three bays on one side and two on the other. The sash windows include glazing bars and rusticated voussoirs, with the first-floor left-hand bay being blocked. There are arched doorways with panelled reveals, six-panel doors, and fanlights. To the left, there is a single-storey workshop made of random rubble masonry from the 19th century, with a tiled roof, a brick stack, and a louvre opening on the roof ridge.
