Description
No. 80 Annesley Road is a pair of houses with an attached workshop, now disused pruner works, dating from around 1800, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. It has three brick ridge stacks and a brick forge stack on the front wall.
The structure is two storeys high and has a five-window range, with an angled front that follows the street. On the right side, there are two large windows, which are flanked on the left by two smaller top-hung casements. To the left of these is the workshop, which has a similar window. All windows feature late 20th-century glazing and stone lintels. Below the right windows, there is a blocked door, to its left a shuttered window, and then a doorway that has been altered to a window, also with shutters. The workshop has two long windows, both boarded. The left gable includes a 20th-century three-light window, and below it, there is a five-light workshop window with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
