Description
No 8 and No 8A on Vallis Way is a building that possibly dates back to around 1697, with a later 18th-century front. It is constructed of rubble and stands 2½ storeys tall, topped with a pantile roof featuring modern brick end chimneys. The building has two dormers that contain early 19th-century glazing bar sash windows. There are three additional windows in raised surrounds, also with glazing bar sashes. The central doorway, which dates from the early 19th century, features a six-panel door with raised and fielded panels, and has cut brackets supporting a moulded flat hood. To the right of the doorway, there is a through-passage door that includes an arched light above with panelled spandrels.
