Description
Nos 4 and 5 on Naish's Street are buildings dating from around 1692, with alterations made in the 18th century and mid-19th century. They are 2½ storeys tall and constructed of rubble, which has been modified in the mid-19th century with block dressings. The buildings feature a pantile roof and have one window each, fitted with cross-glazed sashes, along with one dormer. The doors are located in the center of the façade.
Inside, the buildings were originally one house and display an 'L'-plan layout with stop-chamfered ceiling beams. There is a winder stair positioned against the chimney, which has incised patterns on the risers and newel post. A six-panel door leads to the stairs.
