Description
Nos 6 and 7 Vallis Way is a building dating from around 1697, with some alterations. It is constructed of rubble and has modern pantiles on the roof. The building features two small dormers and has a stone chimney on the left and a brick chimney on the right. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows. The upper windows originally had moulded frames with cross mullions, but these have been replaced with glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has early 19th-century glazing bar sashes flanking the centrally located door openings. Inside, the door to the front room of No 6 has a stopped ovolo surround, and there are moulded risers on the stairs, which include a winder staircase at the rear.
