Description

This building, comprising numbers 5 and 5A Orchard Street, dates to the 1820s. It is a three-storey structure built of rubble stone with simple, raised window surrounds. Chamfered quoins are visible, and a cornice runs along the top. The building has a brick and rubble plinth. There are two windows on each floor, featuring glazing bar sashes; the windows on the second floor are cross-glazed. A door is located on the right-hand side, sheltered by brackets supporting a moulded, flat hood. Number 5 features a half-glazed door with original reeded lower panels.
