Description
The lamp post at the south-east boundary of No 5 Trinity Parade was constructed between 1901 and 1904 by a local art-metal firm known as Singers. It is made of cast iron and features a crook designed to suspend a lamp, which is adorned with art-nouveau style ornamentation. This lamp post has been adapted for town lighting and is an early provincial example of electrification.
