Description
Holy Trinity Church of England School, built in 1841, is designed in a Gothick style to match the nearby Holy Trinity Church, particularly its southeast front. The building features five bays and has a projecting central gable with a slate roof and coped verges. It is supported by octagonal corner buttresses topped with pinnacles and weathered buttresses between the windows. Each side of the entrance, located in the central gable beneath a blind oculus, has two lancet triplet windows. To the right of the gable, there is a belfry that includes an Early English-style lancet triplet and side pinnacles. A later extension with a cross wing is present on the left but is not of special interest. The boundary walls, made of rubble, along Pump Lane and Trinity Row contribute to the pleasant setting of the school to the southwest.
