Description

The eastern half of the two cottages at Manor Farm, located 150 metres northwest of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and is one of a pair, originally part of a terrace of five cottages. The building is constructed from local stone rubble with Ham stone dressings and features Bridgwater patent triple angle clay tiles with bargeboarded eaves and brick end chimney stacks. It is two stories high with five bays. The windows are casements with horizontal glazing bars, and the lower level has modern concrete lintels. The upper level features older pattern casements in bays one, two, and three. There is a blocked doorway to the east of bay one, and bay three has a six-panel door in a plain beaded surround, with a small stair window immediately to the right, which may have been reset. The window in bay five is from a former doorway.
