Description

This is a 17th-century farmhouse, significantly modified since its original construction. It is built of local stone rubble with dressings of Ham stone, and has an asbestos slate roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The house is a one-story building with an attic, originally comprising four bays. It features 3-light hollow chamfered mullioned windows, with inserted casements. The windows in the first two bays share a stone label, while the window in the fourth bay is set higher and has a hood only. A chamfered doorway with a cambered arch is located in the third bay, and has a large stone lintel. There are 20th-century steel casements in flat-roofed dormers to the attic. A single-story extension is set against the south gable.
