Description
The Muddled Man Public House is an inn, possibly a former house, with origins dating back to the 17th century. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut and squared, featuring Ham stone dressings and a Welsh slate roof with overhanging eaves. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay south elevation that is positioned at right angles to the road.
The ground floor includes hollow chamfered mullioned windows with labels, consisting of a 3-light window in bay one, a 2-light window in bay two, and a 4-light window in bay three. There is a chamfered cambered arched entrance doorway located between bays one and two. Above the ground floor, the upper level features small pane casement windows.
At the south end of the elevation, there is a flat-roofed projecting extension. On the west gable, there are traces of two small blocked 2-light windows, and above these is a chamfered single-light window without a label.
