ST4625 12/180 The Pump House 18 metres south - east of Plot Corner GV II

(Not to be confused with dwellinghouse of same name). Pump house. An early C20 cover to C19 pump. Local lias stone squared and boasted; Welsh slate roof with gabled overhangs all four sides. Square plan. In west wall an elliptical arched opening with deep keystone. Inside an early C19 cast iron pump, signed W. Rowe, Yeovil; top cover and handle missing, banded stalk increasing in diameter with moulded and banded spout.
