Rag slate pyramidal hipped roof without ridge tiles. Plan: Square on plan with open front away from the road, and facing a field boundary wall which forms a small enclosure in front. Exterior: Apart from the open front there are no openings in the walls. Interior: Inside the pump house there is an iron pump, probably C19, against the right side wall towards the back. Just outside in the side wall to the left is a niche with slate shelves. The roof structure appears to be original and has diagonally crossed ties. This pump house is an interesting relic, virtually unaltered.
