Description
The pump house, located approximately 200 meters to the northeast of Woodperry House, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with large squared quoins and features an old plain-tile roof. The building has a square plan and is a single storey. The front of the pump house includes a central segmental-arched doorway, along with an additional doorway in the left wall that has a stone flat arch. It is topped with a pyramid roof. This pump house was originally used to pump water from a spring to the water tower in the north garden pavilion of Woodperry House. It is included as a detached part of the Woodperry complex of buildings.
