Description

A barn dating from the early 19th century is located on the north side of the yard at Trenhorne Farm. It is built of roughly coursed dressed stone with a corrugated asbestos roof, featuring gable ends. Originally used as stables or a shippon, the building has a rectangular plan with a loft above. The exterior is two stories high and features dressed stone arches to the openings. The asymmetrical front elevation includes a round arched opening to the left, two narrow doors, and a wide door opening that has been partly blocked to the right. A loft door is visible on the first floor, with a row of pigeon holes below the eaves on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
