Description

The Firs is a detached house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring stepped coped gables and yellow brick chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. It features 12-pane sash windows that have added side margins, set in plain openings with voussoired flat heads. The central entrance has a 6-flush-panel door beneath a radial glazed fanlight, which is located in a semi-circular arched recess. The interior has not been seen.

To the west of the house, there is a boundary wall that is 8 metres long, with a gate opposite the front door. To the south of the gate, there is a squared local stone wall with a castellated top, and to the north, there is a Keinton stone plank wall.
