Description

Lynlea is an early 19th-century detached house located on the north side of Castle Street in Keinton Mandeville. The house is constructed of local lias stone, cut and squared, with a hipped roof of Welsh slate. It has four bays, and features 16-pane sash windows set within plain openings with voussoired flat arches above. The front features a 6-panel door set in a dressed semi-circular arched recess, topped with a radial glazed fanlight. Two ornate tie bar plates are located between the bays. There is a lean-to addition against the east gable, which contains a 4-panelled door. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
