6/99 Outbuilding, 6 metres North of Toomer Farmhouse

Former cottage, now shed. Probably C19. Local coursed rubble stone, some ashlar quoins; clay pantile roof with simple gables; brick chimney stack. Single-storey, 3 bays South elevation. 2-light plain casement windows of early pattern flanking boarded door, all in plain openings; to bay 3 a recess with pump, boxed with lead plate and spout, which reads 'WCM 1841,' side iron handle, and under a stone bowl on rendered brick base; inside, the fireplace on West gable wall reuses a C17 cambered arched lintol with incised spandrils.
