Outbuilding, 6 Metres North Of Toomer Farmhouse

This building is an outbuilding located 6 metres north of Toomer Farmhouse, likely dating from the 19th century. It is constructed from local coursed rubble stone, with some ashlar quoins, and features a clay pantile roof with simple gables and a brick chimney stack. The single-storey structure has a south elevation with three bays. It includes two-light plain casement windows of an early pattern flanking a boarded door, all set in plain openings. In the third bay, there is a recess with a pump, which is boxed with a lead plate and spout, reading 'WCM 1841', and has a side iron handle, positioned above a stone bowl on a rendered brick base. Inside, the fireplace on the west gable wall incorporates a 17th-century cambered arched lintel with incised spandrels.
