Description

The Henstridge Ash War Memorial is a First World War memorial built in 1922 by Messrs J. Cox, stone masons. It features a large stepped base with a pedestal above that has panelled sides inscribed with the names of servicemen who were killed in the First World War. At the top, there is an obelisk draped with a flag that partly conceals an oak branch, along with a bugle and wreath, all carved in relief.
