GV II

Gateway. Late C19. Brick piers with stone, cast and wrot iron gates and railings. Piers have stone plinths and caps, with purple brick quoins to the red brick shafts, the end piers being taller with elaborate scrolled finials. Central gates very ornate in French style, with curved sweep top rails; the brick wing walls set at angle with semi-circular arches with matching pedestrian gates. Part of a large estate with many good collected items; the main house, of 1881, of lesser interest and not listed.
