MUCHELNEY CP ST42SW MUCHELNEY HAM 8/230 South Ham Farmhouse 17.4.59 GV II

Detached farmhouse. C17 origins, modified C18 and later. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared, Ham stone dressings; hipped thatched roof; brick chimney stacks. "L" plan; 2 storeys, 4 bays. North elevation has leaded timber casement windows under timber lintols, mostly 3-light: to lower bay 2 late C20 door protected by timber, glass and thatched porch under construction October 1984. In east return a hollow-chamfered mullioned window of 2 lights in chamfered recess, under square label; above this a C18 mullioned window with beaded surround and hood mould, and further leaded casements. Interior not seen.
