Description
The Cemetery gates, gate piers, and boundary walls were built in 1863 and form the south boundary and entrance to Yeovil cemetery. The walls are made of local stone, laid in courses, with worked copings and varying heights. The tall gate piers are gabletted and support 20th-century wrought iron gates. These features are a vital part of the cemetery's original design and have not been altered since it opened.
