Description

No. 30 is a villa built around 1840, featuring a rendered and scribed exterior with course lines, now colourwashed. The building has a hipped Welsh slated roof with a wide eaves overhang and brick chimneystacks at each end. It is two stories tall and has three bays. The central porch projects forward and is supported by Roman Doric unfluted columns and flat pilasters, which hold up a full entablature with a flat roof. The entrance has a six-panel door, with the top four panels being glazed. The ground floor has 12-pane sash windows that are set plainly, while the first floor features 9-pane sash windows. The side elevation is plain. The interior has not been inspected. There is a local stone front boundary wall approximately 1 meter high, which includes simple stone piers with moulded tops.
