Description
Drappel Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features early 19th-century elements, although its core is older. The building is roughcast with a slate roof that has ridges at two levels and coped verges, along with end brick stacks. It has an irregular arrangement of windows across two storeys and three bays. On the left side of the first floor, there are two 4-pane sash windows with cambered heads, exposed sash boxes, and shallow reveals. The right window on the first floor is a sashed window with 16 panes, also with exposed sash boxes and shallow reveals. There are two similar windows on each side of the ground floor. The central entrance features a 6-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed, and is sheltered by a hood supported by slender iron columns. To the left, there is a lower rubble outshut with a double Roman tile roof, which also has two storeys and 2-light casements.
