Description

The Village Cross, dating from the 14th to 15th century, is constructed from dressed stone. It features a tall calvary with six octagonal steps set on a rubble base. The cross has a chamfered octagonal socket and a tapering octagonal shaft, although the head is missing. This structure is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument (Somerset County No 322).
