Description
Court House Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Wells Road in Westbury-sub-Mendip. The building features colourwashed roughcast, coped verges, and a slate roof with end brick stacks. It has a symmetrical front with two storeys and three bays, showcasing 12 and 16-pane sash windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight that has Gothick glazing, and there is a late 19th-century gabled ashlar porch. On either side of the main structure, there are two-storey, two-bay wings that are lower in height. The right wing has three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, while the left wing has blank openings that are painted to resemble casements.
