Description

The boundary wall, piers, and gates to Coombe Hay Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. The wall is constructed of rubble with dressed stone coping. It features two gateways that are recessed, each with ashlar gate piers that have moulded cornices and domed caps. The lower gateway has paired ornamental wrought-iron gates with cast iron finials, while the upper gateway is missing its gates. This structure is included mainly for its group value with Coombe Hay Farmhouse.
