Description

The Old Inn is a house dating back to the 16th century, with additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a double Roman tile roof and has three ridge stacks, one topped with brick. The building is in an L-shape. It has two bays on each wing, and most windows are 2-light casements, with paired sash windows on the ground floor to the right. A single-storeyed turret with a tile roof and a 20th-century metal casement is located in the angle between the two wings. Next to this is a doorway with a moulded stone surround and a 4-centred head, leading to a plank door. The building was formerly an inn.
