Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage that has been converted into a house, dating from around 1840. It is constructed of random rubble with rough dressed quoins and features a hipped slate roof. A late 19th-century brick chimney stack is located on the front, and there is a coved eaves cornice. The building has a square plan with an irregular frontage, consisting of two storeys and two bays. It includes 16-pane sash windows with brick voussoirs and jambs. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door, where the top four panels are glazed, along with panelled reveals and a fluted surround topped by a flat hood supported by two wooden posts. Inside, there is a staircase and a chimneypiece that are contemporary with the building.
