Description

Knoll Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Jarvis Lane in East Brent. The building features a roughcast exterior with a parapet and plain coping, topped by a bitumenised slate roof with coped verges and end brick stacks. The symmetrical front has two storeys and three bays, with 16-pane sash windows on the first floor and French windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. The central entrance has a six-panelled door and is topped by a later flat wooden hood supported by two wooden posts. To the left, there is a lower wing with a triple Roman tile roof and brick stacks, also two storeys tall, featuring casement windows with glazing bars.
