Description

Knoll Lodge is a house dating from the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a bitumenised slate roof with coped verges and rendered stacks at both ends. The building features a symmetrical front with two storeys and three bays, each bay containing 16-pane sash windows with stepped voussoirs. The central entrance has a six-panelled door, with each panel glazed, and is topped by a transom light with glazing bars. Above the door, there is a flat wooden hood with a lead roof supported by two chamfered posts.
