Description

Max Gate is a house built in the early 19th century. It features a roughcast exterior and a slate roof with coped verges and end brick stacks. The building has a symmetrical frontage with two storeys and three bays. It includes 16-pane sash windows set in plain stone surrounds. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door, with the top panels being glazed. This door is framed by a moulded stone surround and topped with a triangular pediment supported by brackets with guttae.
