Description
Northload House is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the north side of Northload Lane in Wedmore. The building is constructed from coursed and squared Blue lias stone and features a slate roof with coped verges. There are two chimneys, an ashlar stack on the left and a brick stack on the right.
The house has a symmetrical front with two storeys and three bays. It is adorned with 16-pane sash windows. The central door opening has a semi-circular head and contains a six-panelled door, with the top four panels being glazed. The door is framed by a panelled ingo and features a fanlight with radiating glazing bars, along with a hood above the door. To the right, there is a lower outshut with a double Roman tile roof, a coped verge with a finial, and no window openings.
