Description
Oak Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble and features a triple Roman tile roof with coped verges and two rubble stacks, along with a brick stack. The building has a cross passage plan and is two storeys high, comprising four bays. The windows are 3-light casements with glazing bars, some of which are set under relieving arches and others under wooden lintels. There is a door opening located between the second and third bays, featuring a late 19th century 12-panelled door, with the top four panels being glazed. Inside, the farmhouse has chamfered and stopped ceiling beams, and a broad fireplace is present in the left room on the ground floor.
