Description
Blandford House is a house from the early 19th century, featuring a rendered exterior and a double span roof made of slate and pantiles, with coped verges and end brick stacks. The building has a symmetrical frontage and stands two storeys high with three bays. It includes 12-pane sash windows, with the ground floor windows highlighted by emphasised voussoirs and keys. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. There is a later lean-to porch supported by two wooden posts and a brick base. To the left of the frontage, there is a section of brick wall, and decorative wrought-iron railings enclose the forecourt, each topped with spear caps and featuring a central gate that matches the style of the railings, complete with urn finials. These railings extend eastward, enclosing the road-frontage of an adjacent building plot.
