Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1800. It has a roughcast exterior and a 20th-century cement-tile roof. The building is three storeys high and consists of three bays, with a two-storey, one-bay addition on the left end. The main block features a 20th-century porch that encloses a central doorway with a plain ashlar surround. There is a ground-floor sill band, and the third bay has a sash window with glazing bars and a plain surround, while the first bay has a later single-storey bay window added. On the first floor, there are sash windows with glazing bars in the first and second bays, and a 4-pane sash window in the third bay, all set in plain stone surrounds with projecting sills. The second floor has similar, shorter window surrounds with later casements. The roof is hipped with rebuilt brick end stacks. The addition on the left features an elongated ground-floor window beneath a 4-pane sash in a plain surround, with an end stack on the left.
