Description

Oerley Hall is a farmhouse dating to circa 1820-30, with later additions and alterations. The exterior is roughcast, likely concealing rubble stone, and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof with red brick stacks positioned in the roof slope to the left and right. The building is three storeys high, with a toothed brick eaves cornice. The front elevation has three windows; the first floor windows are 16-paned sashes, while the ground floor windows are 4-paned sashes. A central entrance is sheltered by a stone Doric portico, which includes triglyphs and metopes on a moulded entablature, and leads to a half-glazed door dating to the 19th century. A single-storey range added in the late 19th century is situated to the right and is characterised by a pyramidal roof and a canted bay window.
