Description
Pandy is a house built in 1792, as indicated by a datestone, with later alterations. It is constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble, featuring yellow brick window heads, a graded slate roof, and integral end stacks with reddish brown brick shafts. The house has three storeys, with windows on either side of a central boarded door. The windows are mid-19th century casements with three lights, and those on the ground and first floors have segmental heads. The datestone reads "Sr W(atkin) W(illiams) Wynn. Bart./1792" and is located in the space between the windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have a chamfered spine beam and heavy joists in the left-hand ground-floor room. There was a now-demolished mill nearby, suggesting that the house may have originally belonged to the miller.
