Description
No. 36 on Woodsetts Road is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 18th century and was rewindowed in the early 19th century. It is constructed of roughstone sandstone and has a pantile roof. The building has two storeys with three windows on the first floor and a partial outshut on the rear left. A later hipped roof porch is positioned to the left, enclosing a doorway that features a rusticated ashlar surround and cornice. The flanking windows, along with the one on the right, have 16-pane sashes set in rusticated surrounds. There is a shorter first-floor window with similar surrounds that accommodates unequally-hung 12-pane sashes. The external end stack on the left has offsets, while the stone end stack on the right and a rendered ridge stack are located to the right of centre.
