Description
No. 13 Ryecroft is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century, with some rebuilding from the late 18th century. It features a stone slate roof and is two storeys high, with three first-floor windows and a rear outshut. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a two-light flat-faced mullion window, an 18th-century gabled porch with pointed side lights, and a four-light chamfered mullion window that has been altered to a two-light window, all beneath a continuous drip mould. The first floor has a single-light window and two former three-light flat-faced mullion windows, with one light in each now blocked. The building has kneelers and coping, with end stacks, the left one being external with offsets. There is a small segmental-arched gateway in a rubble wall that continues the elevation to the left. The rear of the building features quoins and two-light chamfered mullion windows, some of which have been altered to single lights.
