Description

This is a farmhouse dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof. The symmetrical facade has five bays, featuring quoins, a plinth, and a cavetto-moulded band. All window and door surrounds project. The doorway has monolithic jambs and a chamfered surround. Windows are 2-light, flat-faced, mullioned, with recessed mullions that are internally chamfered. The gables are coped with kneelers and have ridge stacks. The rear of the house has three bays, with 3-light windows on each floor to the outer bays. A tall cross-window is centrally placed to illuminate the stairwell. A right-hand return features a doorway with monolithic jambs and a chamfered surround, along with 2-light windows to each floor, both of which are now blocked.
