11/194 Gaiges, and retaining wall of raised pavement fronting Fore Street -

GV II

House. Early C19. Red sandstone random rubble masonry cement plinth strip, slate roof, brick stack right. 2-storeys, 2 bays; 12 pane sash windows first floor with tripartite sash window with glazing bar to right of recessed partially glazed C20 door. All openings have rusticated cement surrounds. Random rubble retaining wall to raised pavement, property of Gaiges, forms a group with Mansell House (qv) to West and Barbrook (qv) to East and reputedly all were built as a single dwelling.
