Description

Winkley House and Bank House are a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red sandstone random rubble masonry and feature a slate roof with brick stacks. Each house is two stories high and has three bays. The windows are 12-pane sash windows set in rusticated surrounds. The central doorway has an ashlar pedimented doorcase with an entablature and pilasters, along with panelled reveals and a six-panel door. The bank, located on the right-hand side, has 20th-century sash windows to the right of the entrance.
