Description
Grateful Cottage is a cottage that was originally three separate units, dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century, and was renovated in the late 20th century. It features roughcast random rubble masonry and has a steeply pitched slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends and one stack located between the right-hand bays, positioned halfway down the roof. The building is two stories high and has four bays. The windows are 20th-century casements, with two and three lights, and there is a 16-pane sash window under the outer bay on the right side of the ground floor. The entrance is centrally placed with a 20th-century door. The cottage is primarily listed for its group value.
