Description

Westbere is a house dating from the 18th century, possibly a refronting of an earlier dwelling. It is rendered and features a random rubble slate roof with brick stacks on the left and a small gable, likely from a stair turret, projecting on the left side of the roof ridge. The house has two storeys and three bays, with 16-pane sash windows. The central doorway is framed by a simple ashlar pilaster and entablature doorcase, with panelled reveals and a nine-panel door. Westbere forms a pair with Pear Tree House to the east.
