Description

The Lilly monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 28 metres west-southwest of the tower of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb has a trapezoidal plan with a chamfered plinth and plain sides and ends. Its pitched roof features side gables and a roll ridge that forms a Latin cross, with cinquefoil cusping on each gable. The monument commemorates John Lilley, who died in 1823, along with other family members.
