Description

Milcote and Little Moorlands is a house, possibly a former servant's wing to Moorlands, dating from the 19th century and modified in the 20th century. It is constructed from ham stone that is cut and squared, with ashlar dressings, and has Welsh slate roofs featuring coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys with an attic and consists of four bays.

On the ground floor, 20th-century steel windows have been inserted into chamfered openings between the first and second bays and the third and fourth bays. The first floor features pairs of chamfered surround lights with leaded casements, and there are no labels. An additional window is located in the attic gable of the third bay, which may have replaced a former doorway on the left. Between the second and third bays, there is a boarded door adorned with ornamental wrought-iron furniture and a moulded stone cantilevered hood, accessed by five steps with a wrought-iron handrail.

A single-storey extension is present on the south gable, hidden behind a parapet, and includes pairs of sliding garage doors. The interior has not been seen. Little Moorlands, located to the east behind Milcote, is not accessible and appears to be a conversion of the former stables to Moorlands. Both properties are included primarily for their group value with Moorlands.
