Description
No 12 Bridge Street is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been divided into two dwellings, with the left half, No 14, excluded due to extensive alterations. The building is roughcast, possibly over cob, and features a thatched roof. It has a large external stack at the right gable end and a brick stack to the left of the cross passage. The structure is two storeys high and has four bays. The first floor contains early 19th-century leaded casements with quadrant stays, while the ground floor has three-light casements flanking the entrance on the right, with the left casement altered and a 20th-century doorway and window in the end bay on the left. There is a gabled, thatched porch in the second bay on the right with a plank door. A National Union fire insurance mark is located above the left side. The interior has not been viewed.
